The Final Conference was carried out

The final conference of “Key to Future” Project which was developed under Leonardo Da Vinci- Transfer of Innovation Projects was fulfilled on 14th December 2010 at Afyonkarahisar Gazi Technical and Vocational High School. The headmaster of Afyonkarahisar Gazi Technical and Vocational High School Mr. Eray ÇELİKELOĞLU made the opening speech of the conference which Deputy Governor Mr. Ali Muhiddin VAROL, Afyonkarahisar Director of National Education Mr. Hidayet YILDIRIM, Deputy Director of Provincial Education Mr. Emin EKİCİ, Department Manager of Provincial Education Mr. Abdullah DEMİR, headmasters from vocational and technical schools, academicians from Afyonkarahisar Kocatepe University, and representatives from labor market attended to.

The Project was introduced in Europe Day Workshop

The European Day workshop was performed in Grand Çakmak Hotel – Afyonkarahisar on 09 May 2010. Key to Future Project was introduced to the participants from Turkey and some other European Countries in the workshop day. Also with home ownership of Afyonkarahisar Gazi Technical and Vocational High School, a conference was given to European participants about CMS systems which based on the website of Key to Future on 10th May 2010.

The Training of Trainers was carried out in Afyonkarahisar

As a pilot application of the project, 12 teachers from Turkey and 2 from Italy and Greek attended a course under the home ownership of Afyonkarahisar Gazi Technical and Vocational High School between 3rd and 7th May 2010. The course was given by 3 Czech Trainers and its agenda is given here.

At the end of the course, participants were certificated by products owner -RPIC-VIP- and Afyonkarahisar National Education Directorate.

The Third International Project Meeting was carried out

The third international partners’ meeting of the project was performed in Ostrava/ Czech Republic between 24th and 26th March 2010. In 24th March, Greek and Italian partners were worked with TV Polar on the Greek and Italian subtitled versions of DVD’s. In 25th March, all partners came together and performed the partners’ meeting. In the meeting;

  • The strong and weak points of the adaptation and translation phase were discussed,
  • The time table for the training of trainers activity and necessary materials were decided,
  • Legal notices for the publications were decided,
  • The intro pages of the DVD’s were selected,
  • Next partners’ tasks were given.

In 25th March, Turkish partner was worked with TV Polar for the subtitling on Turkish versions of the DVD's. To see some pictures from the meeting please click here.

The Second International Project Meeting was carried out

The second international partners’ meeting of the project was performed in Rome/ Italy between 3rd and 4th December 2009. In the meeting,

  • The results of the Need Analysis phase for all partner countries were discussed,
  • Adaptation and translation phase was examined in detail, problems, time tables, costs etc…
  • Project web site and its administration were demonstrated,
  • Necessary information for the interim report of the project were given,
  • Next partners’ tasks were given.
